Netflix's moody '70s-set serial killer drama Mindhunter is about to return for its second season [1], and as we impatiently await the show's return, we have our first look at some images from the new season. Like season one [2], the show will focus on real-life events, and this time the team will investigate the horrific Atlanta Child Murders [3], which saw at least 29 black children kidnapped and murdered between 1979 and 1981.

The newly-released images give us a glimpse at the community we'll meet as part of the investigation, and they also gives us a peek at some of the characters we got to know in the first season, including Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff), Bill Tench (Holt McCallany), and Wendy Carr (Anna Torv), along with some new faces.
