10 Netflix Original Movies You Have to See This June

pWhile we are excited to head to the theatres this Summer and see all the big blockbusters, we're just as stoked to curl up on the couch with Netflix's new offerings. There are 10 brand new Netflix original movies available to stream in June — and they all sound good. There are dramas, comedies, and a few romances thrown in for good measure.

Sure, you could re-watch old films that are on the streaming site [1], or you could try something new and exciting and stream these fresh films shortly. Be prepared to laugh, cry, and possibly scream as you view these titles from your couch all month long!

Alex Strangelove

Alex Strangelove is about a high school senior named Alex Truelove (Daniel Doheny) who is ready to lose his virginity to his girlfriend. The only issue is that he doesn't know what to do once he meets Elliot (Antonio Marziale) and starts to have feelings for him too. High school is a rollercoaster, and sex just complicates it even more.

Word to the wise, don't tell a lie. That's what happens in Ali's wedding and things get very convoluted. The son of an Iraqi-born cleric in Melbourne, Australia tells a white lie which lands him in a big mess . . . an arranged marriage, even if he is in love with another girl.

This film shows four different stories all linked to lust. You'll see everything from love, lust, sex and desires in different marriages and different situations. It might sound simple, but every relationship has it's own tale to tell.

Maktub is dramatic one minute and will make you laugh the next. It follows two mobsters (the lower level kind) as they try and change their ways in Jerusalem following a bomb attack that they barely survive.

Set It Up

If you're in need of a little romance then Set It Up is the movie for you. It focuses on two underpaid and overworked assistants who team up to get their horrible bosses to date in order for them to get a little space at work. It stars Zooey Deutch, Lucy Liu [3], Glen Powell, and Taye Diggs [4].
