I'm sorry to break your hearts, folks, but Noah Centineo is done playing Peter Kavinsky in Netflix's To All the Boys I've Loved Before. On Saturday, the actor announced his departure from the beloved book-to-movie franchise, and — give me a moment — posted a special shout-out to costar and onscreen love interest Lana Condor among other cast and crew members. "Tonight was my last night as Peter Kavinsky," he tweeted. "I hope you all love these last instalments as much as we do. Forever grateful for the opportunity to be yours. Thank you Lana, thank you Michael, Thank you Matt, Thank you Netflix, grateful to every person who told this story with us."

Centineo first became our collective internet boyfriend when TATBILB dropped on Netflix on Aug. 17, 2018. Thanks to his "whoa, whoa, whoa" expression and his passionate kiss with Condor's character, Lara Jean, we quickly hopped aboard the Centineo train, and it's been a fun ride ever since.

Although it's sad to think about the actor bidding farewell to such a cherished character, it's not technically the end of the line yet. We'll get to see him reprise his role as Peter in the upcoming TATBILB sequel, P.S. I Still Love You on Feb. 12. After that, he'll return in the third and final movie, titled Always and Forever, Lara Jean. Centineo and Condor recently revealed that the third movie is currently in production, but evidently, Centineo has wrapped filming. In honour of Centineo bringing Peter to life on screen, look ahead to see some of the sweetest stills of him in the movie!
