We Have No Idea What's Going on in the Piercing Trailer, and That's Kind of the Best Part

Things definitely take a turn for the gory in this trailer for the dark thriller Piercing. Reed (played by The Sinner's Christopher Abbott) says goodbye to his wife and child for a business trip that quickly reveals itself to be a ruse to cover up his intention for murder. He hires Jackie (Mia Wasikowska), a call girl who ends up disrupting his plans and turning the film's surrealism up to a very weird 11. The film's trailer is sinister and trippy, like a feverish nightmare you just can't make sense of. We're left wondering, is Reed the one in control, or is Jackie?
