If there's one thing you should know about Jordan Peele's Us — other than that it'll give you nightmares for weeks — it's that the horror flick gives its audiences plenty of ideas to process by the time the credits start to roll. In addition to making you immediately cancel any and all holidays to California in the near future, it presents some intriguing ideas about America, the notion of "other," and the people we see when we look in the mirror. In short: it's a lot to take in.

Given the sheer volume of plot Peele squeezes into the film, you might be wondering if he also sneaks in a postcredits scene for one more spooky jolt. The answer is . . . nope! There's no need to stick around once the final terrifying scene wraps up if you're hoping for a zinger. Sadly, we'll have to wait for a third instalment of Peele's horror oeuvre to get more scares.

However, if you're a fan of Us's deeply unsettling version of the popular 1995 hip hop song "I Got 5 on It" by Luniz featuring Michael Marshal, you can process everything you just saw onscreen as it plays over the credits. Good luck out there, horror fans!
