You didn't really think Toy Story would end a film without a special treat for the audience, did you? Much like previous instalments of the franchise, Toy Story 4 has both a mid-credits scene and a postcredits scene, giving fans a double dose of fun after the film concludes. Both sequences take place after the film's sweet (yet still heartbreaking) ending and expand a bit on the world as we've left it.

Spoilers for Toy Story 4 ahead!

After rescuing Bonnie's new toy, Forky and giving his voice box to the film's antagonist turned toy-with-a-heart-of-gold Gabby Gabby, Woody realises that his time living as one kid's toy has come to an end. He says goodbye to Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the gang, deciding to stay with the travelling carnival alongside Bo Peep and the other free toys.

It's a bit of a bittersweet ending with Woody saying goodbye to everything he's ever known to embark on a whole new adventure with the love he lost, but it's still a hopeful one. Forky is safely returned to Bonnie and gets ready to live a life not destined for trash, with all the other toys. The two sequences that follow give a sweet peek at how those two paths work out for everyone, so it's totally worth staying in your seat for a bit longer! Keep reading to see how it all shakes out.
