As a Former Retail Employee, I'm Triggered by Idris Elba's "Emboldened White Lady" SNL Skit
Saturday Night Live just took me back to the dark days of working retail during its March 9 episode. In a sketch titled "The Impossible Hulk," the host (and People's Sexiest Man Alive, need I remind you?) Idris Elba starred as a scientist named Bruce Banner who undergoes a terrifying mutation when someone makes him angry. No, he doesn't turn into a big green monster; he turns into an "emboldened white lady" who hysterically demands to see everyone's manager any time there's an inconvenience. Honestly, this would be an interesting addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Just imagine the Incredible Hulk taking on the Impossible Hulk — a showdown!
