Sam Rockwell took home the trophy for best supporting actor at the 2018 Oscars [5] for his work in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri [6], and his acceptance speech definitely didn't disappoint. After being announced as the winner, beating out the likes of Woody Harrelson, Christopher Plummer, and Richard Jenkins [7], Rockwell took the stage to thank the Academy. "I'd like to thank the Academy. I never thought I'd say those words," Rockwell joked. The actor also took a moment to dedicate his award to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman and shout out to his girlfriend, Leslie Bibb [8]: "You light my fire, baby!"
