Coachella officially kicked off in Indio, CA, on Friday, and day one wouldn't have been complete without a few surprises. One of the biggest shockers of the night was an onstage appearance from Cardi B and Selena Gomez [1]. The 26-year-old music stars joined DJ Snake during his set to perform their 2018 bop "Taki Taki [2]." While Cardi stunted in a floral bodice and blue bodysuit, Gomez rocked an all-white suit with lace details.
Although Cardi performed last year during her own Coachella set [3], this year marks the first time Gomez has ever hit the stage at the popular festival. The last time she was at the event, she went as a guest in 2017 with her then-boyfriend The Weeknd [4].
