The '90s were a pretty sweet time in rap history. Before Nicki Minaj's risqué videos [1] ruled the charts, hard lyrics were en vogue and sex in the industry was hitting a fever pitch. With bands like Salt-N-Pepa talking about the subject on a regular, the industry also saw the growth of the video vixen, something that's still pretty prevalent in rap today (Kendrick Lamar's "Backseat Freestyle" is one example).
