As my friends so kindly like to point out, I tend to stay away from this breed of men, with the exception of one onscreen stud who leaves me (and presumably every single viewer) swooning, and that's Lip Gallagher from Shameless [1]. The minute actor Jeremy Allen White appeared on screen in the season one premiere of the Showtime series back in 2011, that was it; the South Side of Chicago was doomed. His good looks, genius-level IQ, and unwavering love for his family make me — and everyone else — weak at the knees.
Throughout eight seasons, Lip, like every member of the Gallagher family [2], has been through some serious ups and downs, but he always manages to keep his head high and the family afloat. (Sorry, Fiona, but he is the brains behind the operation.)
