Another Big Bang Theory Wedding Is Happening: See Photos From Sheldon and Amy's Ceremony!
The Big Bang Theory just might win an award for the longest will-they-or-won't-they-get-married couple of all time. Finally, eight long years after their first date, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) are tying the knot! CBS has released a handful of lovely photos ahead of the big event in the season 11 finale, which show the cast all done up in their wedding best. American Horror Story's Kathy Bates and magician Teller are also there as Amy's mother and father, respectively. Not only that, but Oscar-nominated Lady Bird star Laurie Metcalf is reprising her role as Sheldon's mother.
Of the actual wedding itself, executive producer Steve Holland told Entertainment Weekly that the episode will have its fair share of ups and downs. "There are still some roadblocks in the way," he explained. "Hopefully fun ones in ways that you're not going to expect."
The photos also reveal an appearance from Star Wars: The Last Jedi's Mark Hamill (we're dying to know who he's playing!) as well as Sheldon's brother, played by Jerry O'Connell. Given the recent news that the nerdy comedy series might be ending soon, we can't imagine a better send-off. Looks like Penny and Leonard's sweet ceremony is going to have some competition on May 10!
