Tom Holland, who's notorious for accidentally revealing MCU-related spoilers, had some fun with his reputation when he announced the sequel's title. On June 23, the 22-year-old took to Instagram to share that he finally got his hands on a script for the film. Although he apologised to fans for not having any other "real revelations coming," Holland quickly flashed an iPad screen which revealed the next instalment will be titled Spider-Man: Far From Home. Nicely done!

In May, there were reports that Jake Gyllenhaal was in talks to play Mysterio, a classic nemesis who faces off with Peter Parker in the comics. Now, it appears Gyllenhaal has sealed the deal. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor is set to star as the notorious villain in the Spider-Man sequel.

According to IMDb, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, and Jacob Batalon will reprise their roles as MJ, May Parker, Vulture, and Ned. We wonder if Keaton's Vulture will team up with Gyllenhaal's Mysterio. Our bets are on yes!
