Now that A Star Is Born [1] is out in theatres, we can officially go full-tilt with our obsession. Having witnessed the magic of the film, there's plenty of fun trivia that will delight diehard fans. That's really Bradley Cooper's dog [2]! What's more, Cooper is actually playing the guitar [3] and actually singing [4] in the film's showstopping performances. But perhaps the most straight-forward and fun trivia of all is pretty easy to spot: there are so many fun industry cameos throughout the film. From classic to contemporary musicians and big TV stars to drag queens, here are the biggest names who appear in fairly small roles.
Greg Grunberg
You probably recognised the Heroes alum as Jackson's driver [5]!
Michael Harney
Yep, that one good friend of Ally's father is, indeed, Healy from Orange Is the New Black [6].
Dave Chappelle
Even though he's part of a big turning point in the plot, we'd still call Chappelle's appearance a cameo. He plays Jack's friend, George "Noodles" Stone.
Shangela
Those two drag queens [7] from Ally's go-to bar aren't just any old queens; they're RuPaul's Drag Race alums! Shangela appeared in seasons two and three, and then went on to play in season three of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars.
Willam
Willam, who asks Jackson to sign her fake boobs in A Star Is Born, can be found on RPDR season four.
Ron Rifkin
Carl, the man who runs Jackson's rehab program, is played by Rifkin. He has an extensive resumé, including major roles on Alias, Brothers and Sisters, Limitless, and so much more.
Halsey
Halsey's the one who presents Ally with her Grammy for best new artist in A Star Is Born!
Brandi Carlile
This one's also in the Grammys scene! Brandi is singing onstage with Marlon Williams while Jackson is completely strung out, trying to play the guitar.
