Did you know that three blocks down from the hospital we know and love on Grey's Anatomy is a firehouse teeming with sexy, life-saving firefighters? Well, if you weren't aware of that already, you will be after watching the first trailer for Station 19, the Grey's spinoff.
Connecting the two shows is Dr. Ben Warren (Jason George), who decides to leave Grey Sloan Memorial to become a firefighter. Now, a few weeks after obsessing over some telling photos from the pilot, the trailer has given us an even better sense of what to expect. Rosewood's Jaina Lee Ortiz leads the diverse cast as Andy Herrera, a firefighter who steps up to lead her firehouse after the chief, her own father, suffers a serious injury on the job. The trailer teases a steamy romance (and potentially a love triangle involving Andy and her coworkers), a deadly rescue mission during a fire, and a cameo from Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) herself.
The 10-episode spinoff will have a special two-hour premiere on March 22 before moving to its regular slot on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET, starting March 29. In the meantime, watch the trailer above!
