Could you fall in love over the course of a single day? Upon first glance, that's the premise of The Sun Is Also a Star [1], in which Daniel (Riverdale [2]'s Charles Melton) attempts to convince Natasha (Grownish's Yara Shahidi [3]) that he can make her fall head over heels for him in just 24 hours. But there's a catch, just as there's far more to this YA adaptation of Nicola Yoon's novel [4] than initially meets the eye — Natasha is being deported back to Jamaica with her family, so a future with Daniel seems not only unlikely, but flat-out impossible. Regardless of if they figure out a way to stay together or not, we can already tell this movie is going to make us weep. (Buckets.)
