It's hard to believe Super Bowl LIII is already upon us, and more importantly, Super Bowl commercial time. While there is plenty of entertainment and drama to be had between the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots, we decided to take it one step further with a roundup of Super Bowl-themed episodes from our favourite TV shows — that way, we can hunker down with our favourite Super Bowl snacks even after the game ends. Here are some of the best Super Bowl-themed TV episodes of all time. (And yes, of course Friends is included. We're not monsters.)

1. This Is Us, "The Game Plan"

When we think of This Is Us and the Super Bowl, we typically think of the notorious episode involving a Crock Pot that made us all weep for a week straight. But instead of focusing our attention on that episode, we decided to focus on this episode, which centres on a young Jack and Rebecca watching the Super Bowl together at the beginning stages of their relationship.

2. Friends, "The One With The Football"

Friends has an episode called "The One After the Super Bowl," which aired (you guessed it) after the Super Bowl. But it has absolutely nothing to do with football, so if you're looking for a little more pigskin, look no further than this episode, which features the gang's Thanksgiving pickup game.

3. Boy Meets World, "The Eskimo"

This episode of Boy Meets World is a true classic. Mr. Feeny assigns Shawn the virtually impossible task of acquiring tickets to the Super Bowl under the following guidelines: Topanga must stay out of it, and Cory must help both of them to succeed at their tasks.
