Taylor Swift's "Lover" Music Video Might Be Her Romantic Video Yet
Taylor Swift's "Lover" music video is finally here! Following her YouTube livestream on Thursday afternoon, the singer released the video for the title track off her upcoming Lover album, which drops on Aug. 23. Just like the song's lyrics, the music video is super romantic and dreamy with Christmas lights, pastel outfits, and quite a few Easter eggs about her unreleased songs. Not to mention, the video also features a cute love interest, played by her Reputation tour backup dancer, Christian Owens.
Swift first teased the track during her Vogue cover story earlier this month and immediately sparked Joe Alwyn engagement rumours with her "borrowed" and "blue" lyrics. The couple started seeing each other in late 2016, and have managed to keep their romance pretty under the radar ever since. Even though the English actor doesn't appear in the video, it's safe to say he was the inspiration behind the song. Watch the full video above.
