Thanos Killing Half the Animals With Snap in Infinity War

This Fact About Thanos's Deadly Snap in Infinity War Will Absolutely Devastate You

We're now approaching the three-month mark since Avengers: Infinity War hit cinemas, and I'm still having trouble thinking about the ending without my heart shattering into a million little pieces. Do I realise they're likely all going to come back in Avengers 4? Yes. Has the image of Peter Parker tearfully disappearing into a poof of dust nonetheless been seared onto my retinas for all eternity? Also yes.

So, you can hopefully imagine my horror upon discovering an even more upsetting layer to the whole Thanos snap situation, one that rivals even Groot's heartbreaking final line in the film: apparently when Thanos decides to snap his giant lavender fingers, he not only takes out half of the human population, but also half of the world's animals. Marvel head Kevin Feige confirmed the tragic news while speaking to speaking to Birth.Movies.Death recently, after they asked him if Thanos's action means "half of the horses [are] gone? Half of the ants?" Feige, sinking a dagger into my heart, replied: "Yes! Yes. All life."

So, your dog. Or your cat. Or even the pony your parents hired for your third birthday party. Black Panther and actual panthers. Admittedly I would be fine with a few less ants (no offence, Ant-Man), but what about the bees? We don't have any to spare, man! Also, did the snap destroy an equal amount of each species, or did Thanos just f*ck up the ecosystem as well as our emotions? Captain Marvel better figure something out, and fast, because this is just disrespectful.
