Elba's previous TV show In the Long Run was set in Hackney, where Elba himself grew up. This show is not autobiographical in the same way that one was, but no doubt some elements of his own life in London will make their way into the show. The character of David is described as being "a North London boy done good," so it's likely most of the action will take place north of the river. 5 / 7 5 The Air Date Image Source: Netflix The show hits Netflix on March 15, 2019. 6 / 7 6 The Trailer Get your first look at the show right here. 7 / 7 NetflixTurn Up CharlieEntertainment NewsIdris ElbaTVCelebritiesTravel
