Veronica Mars [1] fans got some seriously amazing news when it was announced that the show would be making a return [2]. Kristen Bell [3] broke the news on Instagram herself, and we've been aching for more details ever since. Thankfully, Rob Thomas, the original creator of the show who will also be at the helm of the reboot, heard our cries and revealed some of the returning cast members [4].

Kristen Bell
Bell will return as the wise-cracking, suffer-no-fool Veronica Mars [5].
Jason Dohring
Dohring will reprise his role as Logan Echolls.
Percy Daggs III
Daggs III is returning as Wallace Fennel.
David Starzyk
Starzyk is making a comeback as Richard Casablancas.
Francis Capra
Capra will come back as Weevil.
Enrico Colantoni
Colantoni will be reprising his role [6] as one of our favorite TV dads, Keith Mars.
Ryan Hansen
Hansen confirmed on Twitter [7] that he'll be rejoining the cast as his original character, Dick Casablancas, a frat boy with a mean streak and troublesome past.
Max Greenfield
The New Girl star is set to resurrect his character, police officer Leo, in a multiple episode arc [8]. Leo and Veronica were briefly romantically involved in the show, and in the Veronica Mars movie, we find out he's since become a detective at the San Diego Police Department.
Patton Oswalt
The A.P. Bio star has joined the reboot as a brand new character, according to TVLine [9]. He'll recur as "the affable, hapless Penn Epner, AKA the out and proud 'best pizza delivery guy in Neptune.'" Of course, Penn's passion for true crime and posting on unsolved murder websites leads him to cross paths with Veronica. Only time will tell if it's in a good way.
