Freeform's new series Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists [1] is gearing up to be one of the network's most talked about shows, largely due to its all-star cast [2]. One of the talented actresses making her way into the PLL universe is 25-year-old Sofia Carson. This will be her biggest break in the TV world to date, but make no mistake, she's no Hollywood newbie. Over the past few years, Carson has appeared in a number of shows and films — while maintaining a successful singing career [3]. Adventures in Babysitting (2016)
In this remake of the 1987 classic [6], Carson plays Lola Perez — the rival babysitter to Jenny Parker (Sabrina Carpenter) who ends up going on a wild adventure while on the job.
Tini: The Movie (2016)
Carson stars as Melanie in this Spanish drama. Similar to her villainous persona in Descendants, she portrays the deceptive nemesis of music artist Violetta/Tini Castillo (Martina Stoessel).
Descendants 2 (2017)
Carson makes her return as Evie and joins her fellow young Disney villains on a wicked adventure.
Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists (2019)
In this Pretty Little Liars [7] spinoff, Carson assumes the role of fashion blogger and computer coder Ava.
