Netflix's On My Block Is the TV Show You Wish You Had Growing Up

The first trailer for Netflix's On My Block is here, and we're already in love. The coming of age comedy co-created by Awkward's Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, and Jeremy Haft follows four friends as they navigate both their teenage years and life in a rough neighborhood of South Central LA. Over the course of each half-hour episode, we'll see Cesar (Diego Tinoco), Ruby (Jason Genao), Monse (Sierra Capri), and Jamal (Brett Gray) deal with new love, heartbreak, gang violence, puberty, and the rest of the ups and downs that come with freshman year of high school. The show, which has a wonderfully diverse cast, also stars Ronnie Hawk and the hilarious Jessica Marie Garcia. Check out the trailer above before all episodes hit Netflix on March 16.
