Brie Larson Makes Her Directorial Debut With the Fabulously Colourful Unicorn Store

Fresh from smashing records with her Marvel debut in Captain Marvel, Brie Larson is hitting another benchmark in her career — the actress is making her directorial debut with the Netflix film, Unicorn Store, and she's bringing her Captain Marvel costar Samuel L. Jackson with her.

Unicorn Store follows a young woman named Kit after she's been kicked out of art school and forced to move back in with her parents. Despite her creative, escapist ways, Kit resolves to "grow up" and takes a temp job for a P.R. firm. Everything changes when she meets the mysterious salesman of "The Store" (Jackson), who promises her childhood's greatest desire, and leads her down a path to discovering what true magic really means.

From the looks of the trailer — and the flashy suits we really need a closer look at — it's safe to say that Unicorn Store is going to be one vibrant adventure. Check out the trailer above and get ready to believe in magic again when Unicorn Store hits Netflix on April 5.
