With each passing week our favourite shows are wrapping up, but we're also getting news about renewals and cancellations for next season. While shows like Showtime's Shameless will be back for another round, others like Whiskey Cavalier have gotten the ax. Luckily, The CW announced a TON of renewals for their hit series, including Riverdale and The Flash, and Hulu has also renewed a bunch of their freshman comedies. See what else has been renewed or cancelled so far in 2019, ahead.

  • Light as a Feather: Unlike many of the characters in this AwesomenessTV thriller starring Liana Liberato, the show will live to see a second season.
  • Runaways: The Marvel series has been renewed for a third season.
  • Shrill: Aidy Bryant's brilliant comedy will see a second season of awkward run-ins, body acceptance, and hopefully a better romance for Annie Easton.
  • PEN15: Ready to go back to seventh grade? The freshman comedy has been renewed for season two.
  • Ramy: Actor and comedian Ramy Youssef's hilarious series about a Muslim-American family navigating life in their politically divided New Jersey neighbourhood is coming back for season two.

  • The Society: Netflix's dystopian teen drama will indeed return for season two.
  • Queer Eye: Don't worry — the Fab Five are coming back for a fifth season in a brand-new town!
  • Dead to Me: You haven't seen the last of Jen and Judy, because the dark comedy has been renewed for a second season.
  • Russian Doll: The freshman series starring Natasha Lyonne will be returning with eight new episodes in season two.
  • After Life: The Ricky Gervais dramedy will be back for a second season in 2020.
  • I Think You Should Leave: Tim Robinson and Zach Kani's Lonely Island-produced sketch-comedy show will return for a second season, set to premiere in 2020.
  • Dogs: The puppy-loving docuseries will return for a second season.
  • Grace and Frankie: The show starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin has been renewed for season six.
  • The Kominsky Method: The comedy, which stars Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin, will return for season two.
  • Fuller House: The Full House spinoff will return for its fifth and final season this Fall.
  • Sex Education: After a successful first season, the series will return for season two.
  • Umbrella Academy: After leaving fans with a dazzling cliffhanger in season one, the freshman Netflix series has been renewed for season two.
  • Tuca & Bertie: The animated series starring Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong was cancelled after one season.

  • Arrow: Oliver Queen will be back for the show's eighth season.
  • The Flash: You'll be seeing more of Team Flash when the show returns for season six.

  • Black Lightning: The show will return for season three.
  • Charmed: The reboot of the popular '90s show will return for season two.
  • Legends of Tomorrow: The show has been renewed for season five.
  • Dynasty: The modern remake of the '80s show will return for season three.
  • Legacies: The Originals spinoff has been renewed for season two.
  • Supernatural: The series has been renewed for season 15.
  • Roswell, New Mexico: The Roswell reboot will be back for season two.
  • All American: The drama, which is inspired by the life of former football player Spencer Paysinger, will be back for another season.

  • The Punisher: Not long after its second season premiered, it was announced that Netflix has pulled the plug on the show, which was Marvel's last TV series on the streaming giant.
  • Santa Clarita Diet: The zombie comedy starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant was laid to rest shortly after the release of its third season.
  • Lucifer: Despite being saved from cancellation by Netflix once before, the devilish series is ending for good.
  • She's Gotta Have It: After two seasons of Nola Darling's adventures, the series was cancelled shortly after the release of season two.

  • Speechless: The sitcom will not return for a fourth season.
  • Splitting Up Together: The Jenna Fischer-led series has been cancelled after its sophomore season.
  • For the People: The law drama will come to an end after it's second season.
  • The Kids Are Alright: The freshman comedy series starring The Walking Dead's Michael Cudlitz, has been cancelled.
  • The Fix: The legal drama has been cancelled in the middle of its first season.
  • Whiskey Cavalier: There won't be a season two of this spy dramedy.

  • The Tick: Despite being well-received, the superhero comedy will not return for a third season.

  • Life in Pieces: The family comedy has four season under its belt, but will not get a fifth.
  • Murphy Brown: Despite the revival of the classic series's "looking forward" to a second season, it's been axed.
  • Fam: The freshman comedy series will not return for another season.

FOX

  • The Passage: After closing out its first season, the Mark-Paul Gosselaar-starrer has been cancelled.
  • Lethal Weapon: After some intense cast drama and behind-the-scenes troubles, the series was cancelled after season three.

STARZ

  • Power: After reigning supreme on its home network, the crime drama will conclude with its sixth season.
