There's always one more surprise when you go on a date on The Bachelor [3]. During a one-on-one with Elyse Dehlbom [4], Colton Underwood had something special up his sleeve after a day spent at a San Diego, CA amusement park: a "private" performance by Canadian-born country singer Tenille Arts of her song "I Hate This [5]." The song may just have helped the red-headed 31-year-old (an older woman [6]!) from Alaska and the 26-year-old, virgin Bachelor fall in love. P.S., there was a packed auditorium there to witness the burgeoning couple's PDA. But if you could tear your eyes off of Underwood and his date locking lips, or the sea of smartphones capturing a potential love story unfolding before their eyes, you were probably enthralled by Arts's emotionally-charged concert that actually marks her second appearance on the ABC show.

That's right; if Arts looks familiar, it's because in 2018, she performed [7] her song "Moment of Weakness" for then-Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his date Chelsea Roy. Ahem, here's hoping this season's couple lasts longer than they did! But whether Dehlbom is the one at the end with Underwood [8], Arts isn't going anywhere. After releasing her first album, "Rebel Child" in 2017, the star was named "artist to watch" by CMT, according to Art's official website [9]. She has also opened for country mega-star Reba McEntire, and former American Idol [10] Scotty McCreery.

It's clear from Arts' Instagram [13] that not only is she super proud to share her music in general, she's also a huge fan of the show she has now performed on two years running. As a caption to a recent post featuring the singer holding a glass of red and wearing the perfect pajamas for a night in watching The Bachelor, she wrote, "I'm SO excited to be performing on my favourite show again. Safe to say that I definitely don't hate this."

It seems "I Hate This" is enjoying a good deal of success outside of its Bachelor debut. Arts shared on Instagram that the tune rose to number one on Radio Disney's Country chart in early January.
