Zombieland Is Officially Coming Back to Life — Read All About the Long-Awaited Sequel

The sequel will follow the fearless yet dysfunctional crew as they travel from the White House and through the United States, only to encounter zombies, of course, as well as fellow survivors.

As previously mentioned, the core cast is confirmed to reprise their roles, with Stone as Wichita, Eisenberg as Columbus, Harrelson as Tallahassee, and Breslin as Little Rock. The characters use city names as their monikers so as to avoid getting too attached to each other, although Wichita does reveal to Columbus that her real name is Krista.

Ruben Fleischer, who just recently directed Venom, will return to direct the sequel. The first film's screenwriters, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, will also be returning fresh off working on Deadpool 2.
