Watch the Stars of ABC's Queens in Their '90s Music Video

We Can't Get Enough of the Queens Stars in Their '90s-Inspired Music Video

The '90s were all about flashy looks and iconic music, so it's only right that ABC's upcoming hip-hop drama Queens channelled that same energy in its latest teaser for the show. Ahead of the series premiere on Oct. 19, the network and the show's four stars — Brandy, Eve, Naturi Naughton, and Nadine Velazquez — released a music video for their song "Nasty Girl" that'll have you wanting to travel back in time to the golden era.

The glitzy, nostalgic visual — directed by Tim Story — introduces us to Professor Sex (Eve), who takes us from a lavish mansion to a decked-out yacht, where we meet the rest of the ladies: Da Thrill (Naughton), Butter Pecan (Velazquez), and Xplicit Lyrics (Brandy). The song, which is produced by Avery "Avenue Beatz" Chambliss and Swizz Beatz, gives each star a chance to show off their stellar rhyming skills. And from the looks of the video, it seems as though they all truly understood the assignment at hand.

"As artists who came up in the '90s, 'Nasty Girl' is our love letter to the groundbreaking music and hip-hop culture of the era," the four stars said of the video in a joint statement. "Filming the music video on a yacht in Miami, with the Champagne flowing and pyrotechnics blasting, stirred up a sense of nostalgia and pride in how far we have come as artists. To still be in the game today and supporting each other along the way is what our show Queens is all about." Watch the epic music video above.
