And just like that, a new chapter of Sex and the City [1] is almost here! HBO Max finally released the official trailer for the reboot series on 30 Nov., and we're already so emotional! The show, titled And Just Like That… [2], centres around the lives of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker [3]), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon [4]), and Charlotte York-Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis [5]) as they navigate New York City, now in their 50s. The new trailer sets off all the nostalgia bells with the iconic friend group as Carrie confirms that "if you have good friends in your corner, anything's possible." We also see her speaking as a guest on a podcast show hosted by Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez), a new character who is a nonbinary, queer comedian. And of course, we get a quick scene of Carrie and Mr. Big (Chris Noth) looking so in love after all these years.
Throughout the clip, we also see glimpses of past characters including Charlotte's husband, Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler); Miranda's husband, Steve Brady (David Eigenberg); and Stanford Blatch (the late Willie Garson). Newcomer Nicole Ari Parker appears in the trailer as well as friend Lisa Todd Wexley, the replacement of Kim Cattrall [7]'s Samantha Jones. Watch the trailer above for a look at what's to come!
