Each episode follows one person as they go on five blind dates; all take place at the same restaurant, giving as much of equal footing as possible. Now on its sophomore season [4], which is based in New Orleans, the single-and-ready-to-mingle cast includes Justin, Deva, Demi, Heather, Ben, and Brandon. Apart from awkward first-date banter, couples share past relationships, career goals, interests, and for some, a few goodnight kisses! A professor at University of New Orleans, Ben is on the hunt to find his one true love. He meets Alex, Shamerick, Kat, Stephanie, and Jaden on his blind dates. Two dates did end on a bit of a sour note when he had to say goodbye to Stephanie, a student at his university, and Jaden, who expressed she'd rather be friends.

At the end of the episode, Ben asks Alex, with whom he shared meaningful yet flirty conversation with, on a second date. Neither Ben nor Alex post often on their social media channels [8], so whether they stayed together or not is still a bit of a mystery. Only time will tell!

Are Deva and Maria From Dating Around Still Together?

Deva's blind date with Maria was almost too magical that we could honestly skip recapping her other four blind dates with Touré, Ruben, True, and Brooke. While she enjoyed her time with Brooke, Deva was upfront with her feelings being more platonic. After sharing that he was poly and preferred the women he is dating to not be with other men, Deva said goodbye to True.

Then there was Maria, and their connection was out-of-the-park amazing. They were familiar with each other's interests, had similar values, and Maria even snuck in a few kisses! There's been no hints on Maria's Instagram [9] regarding their status as a couple (nothing on Dev's account, either [10]), but we're hoping for clarification soon!

Are Heather and Ernesto From Dating Around Still Together?

Heather's blind dates consisted of five men, Truman, Montrell, Ernesto, Deavhon, and Lawrence. While all the men had quality attributes, Trumen found himself heading home early due to their difference in beliefs. Her standout dates included Ernesto and Lawrence, both of whom she shared a few kisses with, but it was ultimately Ernesto who stole her heart and won the second date.

In terms of the status of their relationship, nothing has been confirmed nor denied. Heather and Ernesto both do follow each other on Instagram, and Ernesto has shared a few behind-the-scenes shots [11] (which he has tagged Heather in!).

Are Brandon and Justin From Dating Around Still Together?

Brandon, a NOLA native, is a kindergarten teacher who is more than ready to take the next step with someone into a serious relationship. His blind dates included meeting Jonathan L., Andrew, Jonathan B., Justin, and Ronald. We find out that he and Ronald had matched and talked for a little on Tinder a few years ago, so to them, it almost felt like a second date.

But sparks flew when Justin and Brandon were on their date. So much so, that Justin confided in him that he was in the process of moving to Austin, TX. The sad news didn't stop them from sharing a few smooches, swapping contact information, and Brandon even choosing him for his second date! While there's been no confirmation that the two are no longer together, according to Justin's LinkedIn profile [12], he did make the move to Texas. So unless, they're doing the long-distance thing, Brandon and Justin are probably no longer dating.

Are Demi and Zach From Dating Around Still Together?

Demi went on dates with Allan, Zach, Britton, Trevor, and Noel, and with a history of being broken hearted by past relationships, Demi wasn't playing around. It was obvious from the get go that she was vibing the most with Allan and Zach. While Allan definitely dabbled in flirtatious conversation and illustrated himself as a "bad boy," Zach showed off his goofy side and even danced with Demi on the street! In the end, Demi chose to go on a second date with Zach.
