Thanks to the Jason Robert Brown for Virtual SubCulture Residency Concert [1] on Monday, which benefits the SubCulture Relief Fund [2], we were blessed with Ariana Grande [3]'s rendition of "I'm Still Hurting" from The Last Five Years. While many have been calling for Grande to be Elphaba [4] in the film version of Wicked, her performance has us thinking maybe there should be a revival of The Last Five Years with her as Cathy instead.

With The Last Five Years, she'd really be able to own the role since there are only two characters — Jamie and Cathy — in the entire show. Granted, these are just thoughts and there's not currently a revival in the works (and the Wicked movie is currently delayed without a casting announcement).
