BBC's New Trailer for Industry Gives an Uncensored Look Into the Cutthroat World of Investment Banking

BBC Two [1]'s latest drama Industry follows five recent graduates who are competing for a few select positions at one of London's leading investment banks. The plot line focuses on Harper Stern (played by Myha'la Herrold) who navigates the world of high finance while examining issues of race, gender, class, and privilege in the workplace.

Created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, the eight-part drama series is lead by Myha'la Herrold (as Harper), Marisa Abela (as Yasmin), Harry Lawtey (as Robert), David Jonsson (as Gus), and Nabhaan Rizwan (as Hari). Harper Stern is an ambitious and highly intelligent young woman from upstate New York who experiences the high stress, but exhilarating environment of Pierpoint & Co's trading floor. While forging her path with laser-sharp focus, she is seduced by romance, drugs, sex, and partying with her colleagues. Will Harper allow the sins of the baking world to distract her, or will she rise to the top of the high finance hierarchy?

Industry is directed by Lena Dunham [2], Ed Lilly, Tinge Krishnan, Mary Nighy and will soon be available on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer. Ahead of the official release date, catch a peak of the drama above.
