See How the New "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" Characters Compare With the Original Cast
"The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" is getting a reboot, and with it comes a whole new cast of actors. Breakout star Jabari Banks is stepping into Will Smith's shoes as the lead character of "Bel-Air," while Adrian Holmes and Cassandra Freeman are taking on the respective roles of Phillip and Vivian Banks. Also joining them are Olly Sholotan as Carlton Banks, Coco Jones as Hilary Banks, Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks, and Jimmy Akingbola as Geoffrey.
The revamped show will still explore Will's journey from the "streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air," only this time, it'll dive deeper into important social issues, like race, class, and politics. And based on the trailer, there will be tons of drama. Ahead of the show's 14 Feb. premiere on NOW, see the new characters side by side with the originals.
