Ben Platt Really Sang Ariana Grande's "Needy" in the Same Key as Her — I Repeat, the SAME Key
At this point, calling Ben Platt talented is a massive understatement. Let me direct you to his latest singing video as one reason why. On Saturday, the 26-year-old Pitch Perfect star posted his cover of Ariana Grande's "Needy," and sang the tune in the same key as Grande. Yes, Platt's vocal range is just that amazing. "One never changes an Ari key," he wrote in the caption. Unsurprisingly, his followers were amazed, commenting on his musical knack. Even Frozen actor Josh Gadd was in awe, tweeting, "How are you so good?"
Platt's latest rendition is the fourth instalment of his weekly indoor concerts. He kicked things off on March 21 with a performance of "Rainbow" by Kacey Musgraves.
