Big Time Rush Throws It Back to 2010 With a Surprise Virtual "Worldwide" Performance

Big Time Rush virtually reunited to surprise fans with an acoustic performance of their 2010 hit "Worldwide" a decade later. The former bandmates [1] and Nickelodeon costars — Carlos PenaVega, James Maslow, Kendall Schmidt, and Logan Henderson — shared a video on June 16 of their reunion along with an inspiring message.

"These challenging times around the world have made us want to connect with all of you so much," PenaVega wrote on his YouTube page. "They have also made us want to stay connected with each other. We got inspired to record and sing together again seeing how many smiles our check in video created weeks back."

"We spent some time recently recording one of our favourite songs (safely apart) and wanted to share it with you all as our small way of saying thank you," he continued. "We are sending love to all of you WORLDWIDE. Please take care of yourselves, take care of each other, [please] take care of all of your fellow neighbours. We'll be thinking about you."

The Big Time Rush bandmates spent four years of their career together and released three studio albums, before they pursued solo projects in 2014. Although the iconic boy band is now separated by distance, they're clearly still united in their love of music. Watch the full performance above for a nostalgic trip back to the early 2010s [2].
