When Will Bill & Ted Face the Music Be Released?

The Bill & Ted Face the Music Trailer Is Here to Remind Us to Be Excellent to Each Other

Might as well call Eddie Van Halen, because the trailer for Bill & Ted Face the Music is a most triumphant video. Set 29 years after Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, the new movie, which will be released on Aug. 21, follows Bill and Ted as they're faced with creating a song in 78 minutes to save the world. In order to succeed, they have to work with their families, old friends (including the Grim Reaper), and famous musicians (who may or may not include their future selves).

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter reprise their roles as Theodoure "Ted" Logan and William "Bill" S. Preston, Esq. Also returning are William Sadler as the fan-favourite Grim Reaper and the late George Carlin as Rufus, who will appear through the use of repurposed footage from the first two films. Other characters include Bill and Ted's wives, princesses Joanna and Elizabeth from the second movie (now played by Jayma Mays and Erinn Hayes), and their children Billie "Little Bill" Logan (Brigette Lundy-Paine) and Theodoura/Thea "Little Ted" Preston (Samara Weaving). Watch the full trailer above and party on, dudes.
