Blink-182 is officially back! On 11 Oct., the pop-punk trio surprised fans when they announced a reunion with former singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge and new music. "We're coming. Tour's coming. Album's coming. Tom's coming," the band — which also includes Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus — captioned their video announcement on Instagram. "Tickets on sale Monday. New song EDGING out Friday. blink182.com"
Blink-182's new single "Edging" drops on Oct. 14, and tickets for their tour [1] go on sale Oct. 17. The tour will kick off on March 11, 2023 in Mexico, and will extend through Feb. 26, 2024, ending in New Zealand.
This marks the first time DeLonge, Barker, and Hoppus have all reunited since 2015. The band went on hiatus in 2005, with DeLonge shifting his focus to his other band Angels & Airwaves. They eventually reunited in 2009 for new music and a tour, but DeLonge ended up leaving the band in 2015, with Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba stepping in as his replacement.
