Just a few days after Kelly Clarkson [1] wowed just about everyone with her fiery cover of Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats," [2] the latter American Idol alum belted out a song of her own that — no joke — left me with goosebumps. Underwood stopped by Stephen Colbert [3]'s The Late Show on Thursday night to perform "Low," a song off of Cry Pretty [4], the sixth studio album from the country superstar. It's a heartfelt ballad about what it feels like to lose the love of your life, so yes, I may or may not be sobbing as I type this. (I am.) Watch her belt it out above, and if you need a pick-me-up afterwards (you will), check out her rock-heavy duet with Joan Jett [5] from earlier this year!
