The world may be working on self-isolation, but that doesn't mean we can't have a good time while we're at it. On March 16, Coldplay's Chris Martin helped kick off [1] a new virtual concert series that features our favourite musical celebrities putting on live performances from their homes for social-distancing fans during the coronavirus pandemic. A collaborative effort between the World Health Organisation and Global Citizen, Together, At Home: Who-Global Citizen Solidarity Sessions aims to unite people all over the world with the wondrous gift of music!

Martin launched the concert series on Instagram Live with nothing but his acoustic guitar, a piano, and a seriously adorable "can-do" attitude. "I'm on my own, sort of, in the house where I am . . . and so I thought, what would be nice would be to check in with some of you out there and see how you're doing and what I could do for you," he began the mini-concert video, explaining that the rest of the band were scattered in different countries. Martin then went on to play some of Coldplay's most classic hits including "Yellow" and "Viva La Vida." And even though the British-born rocker said he was nervous about playing live, he also performed his rendition of David Bowie's "Life on Mars."

John Legend [2] is the next artist queuing up [3] to throw a mini concert — with Chrissy Teigen "forcibly" along for the show [4]. And plenty of other musicians are joining the wave of live-streaming performances as they encourage fans to stay home, like Keith Urban's "InstaBand" [5] and classical musician Yo-Yo Ma, who shares #SongsofComfort on his Instagram page [6] to bring fans comfort during this time of high anxiety.

The world may be filled with people isolating themselves, but these celebs are ensuring we don't feel quite so alone. Watch Martin's concert above!
