Clueless Movie Returning to Theatres 2020

Clueless Is Heading Back to Theatres This May, and We're Like, Totally Buggin'

The Beverly Hills High Class of 1995 is making a comeback in the most tubular way for the 25th anniversary of one of the most iconic films to hit the big screen: Clueless is returning to theatres! The Amy Heckerling-directed phenom will ring in 25 years of being the quintessential '90s teen flick with a three-day run only this May.

Thanks to Fathom Events and Paramount Pictures, fans can now purchase tickets to check out Clueless on the big screen on May 3, May 4, and May 6 in more than 600 movie theatres nationwide. Not only will viewers be able to dive back into the melodrama surrounding Cher Horowitz and her stylish gang of peers, but the film will be accompanied by a featurette highlighting the slang created by the movie that still lives on in American culture.

Originally released in July 1995, the comedy loosely based on Jane Austen's Emma stars Alicia Silverstone, (the forever-young) Paul Rudd, Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy, Elisa Donovan, Justin Walker, Donald Faison, Breckin Meyer, Jeremy Sisto, Wallace Shawn, and Dan Hedaya. If you don't already know what exactly was "way harsh, Tai," this is the perfect time to educate yourself.

"Whether you're seeing it for the first or the hundredth time, Clueless remains one of the funniest and most charming movies — while never losing its satirical bite or wonderful view of the world as it existed 25 years ago," Fathom Events stated. "We couldn't be more delighted to bring it back to the big screen if Cher herself had asked us."

To see if your neighbourhood cinema is one of the lucky theatres offering the special viewings, visit the Fathom Events website and punch in your zip code before tickets sell out!
