1. Vanessa Bell Calloway as Imani Izzi

Calloway reprises her role as Imani, General Izzi's younger sister. In the first film, she's offered to Akeem as a potential bride that is made to continuously barked like a dog because he asked her to.

2. Garcelle Beauvais as the Rose Bearer Priestess

Beauvais returns as the leader of the rose bearers who shower the palace floor with flowers during royal events.

3. Louie Anderson as Maurice

Anderson returned for the sequel in his original role as loyal McDowell employee, Maurice.

4. Morgan Freeman as Himself

Freeman fulfils the role as presenter at King Jaffe Joffer's funeral, which is held while the king is still alive.

King Babar makes an unexpected cameo in the film, apparently being good friends with Akeem since he was a young elephant. It makes sense though, kings hang with kings.
