Courteney Cox [3] is taking a walk down memory lane! On Thursday, the 55-year-old actress shared a throwback photo on Instagram of her, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry [4], Jennifer Aniston [5], David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc sitting down for "the last supper" before they filmed the series finale episode of Friends [6] back in 2004. "'The Last Supper' before taping 'The Last One' on Jan 23, 2004. #tbt #friends," Cox captioned the nostalgic shot. She also included a picture of the episode's script, which was written by Marta Kauffman and David Crane. Naturally, the snap has everyone deep in their feelings, including Aniston who commented three crying emojis.
Even though the beloved show came to an end nearly 16 years ago, the cast is currently in talks for a reunion special with HBO Max [7]. "There's interest all the way around, and yet we can't seem to quite get that interest all aligned to push the button on it, so today unfortunately it's still a maybe," chief content officer Kevin Reilly said about the special at this year's TV Critics Association press tour. Here's to hoping they can figure it out!
