Star Wars actor Daisy Ridley joined The Late Late Show with James Corden to share details about her time on The Great Celebrity Bake Off For Stand Up to Cancer. "Without any spoilers, I'm confident I'm looking at the star baker. Am I wrong?" Corden asked Ridley. But despite thinking she was going to be the greatest baker that ever was, Ridley opened up about her less than pleasurable experience.
"I went in saying I was going to be amazing or the butt of the joke but thinking I would be amazing," Ridley said. "I don't know that it went that way for my time. And I kept thinking that I'd pull it back, I can fix this, I'm a good baker. My friends literally said to me, 'Dais, I'm so confused because you can actually bake', and I was like, 'I know'. It wasn't for me, but I raised money for charity. But it was actually painful, like it put me off baking."
