Award-winning journalist Dolly Alderton, announced in 2021 that her book, "Everything I Know About Love" [1] would be turned into a seven-part TV series thanks to the BBC. Fast-forward by less than a year, and we've already got the first images for the upcoming series — and it looks incredible.
Revealing the first image on Twitter on 15 March, Alderton shared a sweet caption that read "Here's a first look at my upcoming TV show Everything I Know About Love — a romantic comedy drama about female friendship. It's got my whole entire heart in it and I cannot wait for you to meet these four girls."
According to the series synopsis, "Everything I Know About Love" is "set in a 2012 London house-share with flashbacks to suburban adolescence in the early noughties. The series is an unflinching deep dive into bad dates, heartaches, and humiliations and begs the question: can platonic love survive romantic love as we grow up?"
Starring a mix of up-and-coming and established actors [2], including Emma Appleton, Bel Powley, and Aliyah Odoffin, the series has yet to be given an official release date, but rest assured, we're keeping our eyes peeled for updates.
Take a peek at the first-look images ahead, before the series lands on BBC One.
