Netflix is bringing Dolly Parton's iconic songs to life with their new series Heartstrings [1]. On Tuesday, the streaming service unveiled the very first glimpse of the eight-episode anthology series, which is inspired by hits like "Jolene" and "Two Doors Down."

"Songs, they're just stories put to music," Parton says in the trailer. "The songs that I've written, they're stories of my life. Every triumph, every struggle, every smile, every sorrow. It's the melody of my memories. It's the sound of my heartstrings."

As if the premise wasn't enticing enough, the show also has a star-studded cast [2] including Once Upon a Time alums Ginnifer Goodwin [3] and Colin O'Donoghue, The Bold Type actress Katie Stevens, and Julianne Hough as Jolene. Watch the trailer above before the series hits Netflix on Nov. 22.
