Dove Cameron “Out of Touch” Music Video

Dove Cameron's "Out of Touch" Video Features Thomas Doherty, and There Goes Our Hearts

Dove Cameron dropped the music video or her new song "Out of Touch" on Friday, and it's a far cry from her Disney days, that's for sure. At first, we thought the song was a breakup track, but before you panic (like we did), it has a very happy ending. "Out of Touch" is actually a love song about a woman who puts her loyal partner through their paces . . . regularly. "You love me when I'm low, when I'm down in the basement / And you don't give me up when I test your patience / You always forgive / How could I forget? / You don't run away when I'm actin' ugly / No you never sugar coat / And that's why you're the greatest."

In the music video, Cameron channels her inner Little J (if you know, you know). She may be rocking her signature beachy, long blond hair, but she's also wearing heavy black eyeliner, a fluorescent orange leather jacket, and patent black-leather crocodile gloves that come almost to the top of her arms. At one point, she sheds the jacket like she's shedding a second skin, and because the video is pared back, with Cameron front-and-centre looking straight down the camera, it feels very intimate.

But the good news comes at the end. Right as the screen starts fading to black, Thomas Doherty appears and Cameron dives straight into his arms — because true love is real team. Watch the full video above.
