Every Time Euphoria's Ashtray Chooses Violence in Season 2

Euphoria's Ashtray Is a Ride-or-Die

Ashtray is the Euphoria character we've all come to know and love in season two. Ashtray (Javon "Wanna" Walton) chooses violence every single time, but it's to protect Fezco (Angus Cloud), and we can get behind that. Admittedly, I'm a little scared of the pint-size drug dealer. I wouldn't blink the wrong way or make any sudden movements around the sharp shooter, but I do respect his fierce loyalty.

"Man, their relationship is super close. You can't break them apart, Fez and Ashtray's chemistry. They have to be together at all times," Walton tells Complex in a recent interview. "They're partners at the end of the day. And you see that even when Fez says that they're partners in Episode 1, you really see that they're together and they can't live without each other. They would die for each other. They would, for sure, kill for each other. I think they're all that they got." The actor also teases some "crazy stuff and intense moments" to come. Continue reading for all of Walton's scene-stealer moments in season two.

Euphoria Season 2, Episode 3: Ashtray Repeatedly Beats Cal Jacobs With a Rifle

Cal (Eric Dane), Nate's dad, just won't leave Fez alone. In episode three of Euphoria, Cal does a stakeout of the drug dealer's home. Ashtray catches Cal sleeping in his car outside Fez's home and approaches him with a rifle. The young drug dealer brings Cal in for interrogation and has a little too much fun with it.

"First you come to my f*cking job asking all these weird-ass questions like the feds, then I find you in front of my house. The f*ck are you doing, man?" Fez asks with Ashtray holding up the gun to his head. Cal mocks Fez for calling Nate a "f*cking b*tch," and Ashtray hits him with the rifle. "You're in no position to talk sh*t," he warns Cal.

Ashtray proceeds to hit Cal at least a dozen more times because he threatens to call the cops and Ashtray knows Cal is bluffing. Cal's dad is bleeding heavily from his forehead before Fez eventually intervenes and tells Ashtray to chill out. You could argue Fez has saved Cal's life twice. Ashtray clearly doesn't care about a murder charge.

Euphoria Season 2, Episode 2: Ashtray Prepares to Shoot Cal Jacobs in Fez's Store

Fez attacks Nate (Jacob Elordi) during a New Year's Eve party in the premiere episode because the high school bully ratted him out to police. The brutal beatdown results in Nate getting hospitalized. Nate's dad, Cal, then goes on a quest to figure out who beat up his son. Nate refuses to snitch, but Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) does.

Cal eventually goes to Fez's store to intimidate him. When it looks like he's pulling a gun out of his pocket, Ashtray pulls out a gun stored in a cereal box in the event that Cal shoots. It turns out Cal was just pulling out money to pay for a pack of gum, but Ashtray was ready!

Euphoria Season 2, Episode 1: Ashtray Kills Mouse With a Hammer

Episode one of Euphoria season two shows the aftermath of Fez robbing rival drug dealer Mouse (Meeko Gattuso). Fez has to steal from Mouse to pay off his debts with his supplier Laurie (Martha Kelly) after Nate's call to police results in him having to flush all the drugs he was supposed to sell. Mouse eventually confronts Fez, and Ashtray isn't having it. The young drug accountant seemingly comes from nowhere as he runs and takes a hammer to Mouse's head and kills him.
