It's official: Euphoria [1] is back! The Emmy-winning, Gen Z-focused series became wildly popular when it first premiered in 2019, and after much (MUCH) anticipation for its second season [2], the show will finally return on 9 Jan. 2022. The series shared a first look at season two on 23 Nov. in a one-minute-and-23-second clip that shows our favourite toxic East Highland teens [3] back up on the small screen. In the trailer, we see Rue (Zendaya [4]) still struggling with her addiction, but it seems like she's not the only one still facing demons. In the second trailer, which dropped on 20 Dec., we see Rue finally seeking help for her addiction, and it looks like Nate (Jacob Elordi [5]) and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) may end up being a thing? A lot is going down this season.

In addition to Zendaya [6], cast returning to the show include Hunter Schafer [7] (Jules Vaughn), Nika King (Leslie Bennett), Eric Dane [8] (Cal Jacobs), Angus Cloud (Fezco), Algee Smith (Chris McKay), Alexa Demie [9] (Maddy Perez), Barbie Ferreira (Kat), Maude Apatow (Lexi Howard), Javon Walton (Ashtray), Storm Reid [10] (Gia Bennett), and Austin Abrams (Ethan). The show last left off with its special episodes centred on Rue [11] and Jules [12]. We have no idea what sort of drama lies ahead for the HBO series, but believe us when we say we're counting down the days to January!
