Eurovision May Be Cancelled, but the Absurdity Continues With At-Home Concerts Every Friday

The 2020 Eurovision Song Contest may have been cancelled due to the coronavirus, but it's still bringing a whole lot of joy into our lives this month. The song contest is hosting at-home concerts by a bunch of your favourite Eurovision contestants from past and present years — and it all kicked off with the first episode on 3 April. Each of the performers will perform a cover of a song made popular by Eurovision, and you can get involved at home by voting for exactly which song they play, on the Eurovision Facebook page.

The first episode saw Ireland's 2018 entry Ryan O'Shaughnessy perform along with Denmark's Rasmussen (also from the 2018 contest), Tamara Todevska from North Macedonia (2019), and Slavko Kalezic from Montenegro (2017). Episode two was even more stacked, with eight acts that are a mixture of 2020 contestants (like our beloved Icelanders Daði) and favourites from previous years.

The episodes will be available to watch on YouTube every Friday at 5 p.m. CEST (4 p.m. BST) until 15 May. Ahead, watch every episode of Eurovision Home Concerts, so far, and then relive all the wackiest moments from years' past.
