It's been a long time coming [1], but we finally have our first looks at the ninth instalment of the Fast Saga, F9 [2]. A brief teaser released on Jan. 28 teased that not only does Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto now have a son, but something ominous is heading their way [3], and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) figures it out just in time to deliver the warning. The full trailer — which dropped three days later — reveals that the forthcoming danger will hit a lot closer to home in the form of Dom's brother, Jakob (played by John Cena). "Things change, now that I'm a father," Dom says in the clip. "I can't live my life a quarter of a mile at a time anymore." Sadly, Dom's enemies don't care about his new life, and they're gunning for him anyway.
In a newly released trailer, which dropped on April 14, our theory about the gang heading to space is finally confirmed. Yes, they're going there. The action-packed trailer features the usual crew [4], along with one surprising familiar face: Han, an old friend who seemingly died in Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. As the team comes together to battle Jakob and Charlize Theron [5]'s cyberterrorist Cipher, we'll learn exactly how far Dom is willing to go to protect his chosen family against his little brother.
F9 began filming [6] in June 2019 and is slated to premiere on 25 June. Watch the trailers ahead!
